Senior Leader Performance

We all have our signature strengths - the things we are good at and we really enjoy.

Our observation when working with senior people is that they have rarely proactively received clarity on the step changes required in what they do and how they do it as they progress in their career.  

There are clear differences between doing roles, managing roles or leading roles; what were previously a person's signature strengths could become leadership derailers!  So there is often a lag in performance over potential.  

Working with senior leaders we notice that they work hard and they focus on delivery – but more uncommon is appreciating where they should add value; and how this is likely to change as their role and the context changes.
